An Aesthetic Staff Nurse is a qualified nursing professional responsible for assisting doctors and aesthetic practitioners in delivering non-surgical cosmetic and dermatology treatments. The role focuses on patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care in aesthetic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist doctors in performing aesthetic and dermatology treatments (e.g., laser, injectables, skin procedures).
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials to maintain clinical standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-treatment patient care, including explaining procedures, aftercare, and managing patient concerns.
- Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols during procedures.
- Support patient assessments, record medical history, and document treatment details accurately.
- Provide counseling on skincare routines, treatment options, and lifestyle advice.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in aesthetic practice.
