We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to protect our premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The Security Officer will monitor activities, enforce security procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and security systems.
- Control access to buildings and facilities by verifying identification and credentials.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, and security incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Conduct security inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
- Assist employees and visitors with security-related concerns.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when necessary.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Valid security license/certification (if required by local regulations).
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
