Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Core Shooter Operator with 5–8 years of experience in foundry core making operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in operating core shooter machines, producing high-quality sand cores, and ensuring adherence to production, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up Core Shooter machines for daily production.
- Prepare and produce sand cores as per production drawings and specifications.
- Perform die changing, machine setting, and parameter adjustments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of cores before dispatch to moulding.
- Monitor sand mix, resin, catalyst, and gas settings for optimum core quality.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot core defects and machine issues.
- Maintain production records and achieve daily production targets.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company policies at all times.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core Shooter machine operation and setup.
- Experience in Cold Box / Hot Box core making process.
- Knowledge of sand properties, resin systems, and core quality standards.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Good understanding of foundry safety practices.
Preferred Candidate
- 5–8 years of experience as a Core Shooter Operator in an aluminium, iron, or steel foundry.
- Experience in handling different core boxes and tooling.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and meet production targets
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
