Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle at Akshayakalpa Organic. This role includes managing HR operations, implementing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements. The Human Resources Generalist will handle recruitment support, onboarding, employee engagement activities, and performance management coordination. Daily responsibilities also include administering employee benefits, maintaining accurate HR records, addressing employee queries, and supporting training and development initiatives. The role collaborates with managers and leadership to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with the company’s values.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience in generalist or similar HR roles.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies and compliance, including drafting, implementing, and updating HR guidelines and procedures.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, communication, and issue resolution.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Experience with HRIS systems, basic labor law understanding, and prior work in manufacturing, agriculture, or FMCG environments will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
