Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist with expertise in obesity management, metabolic disorders, diabetes care, and GLP-1-based therapies. In this role, you will play a key part in designing personalized treatment programs and supporting patients on their journey toward sustainable weight loss, improved metabolic health, and longevity.
Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Care & Patient Management
- Conduct patient consultations and comprehensive metabolic assessments.
- Diagnose and manage obesity, insulin resistance, prediabetes, diabetes, PCOS, metabolic syndrome, and related endocrine disorders.
- Prescribe and monitor GLP-1 therapies and other evidence-based metabolic interventions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating medication, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment protocols as required.
2. Metabolic & Weight Management Programs
- Lead obesity and weight management programs.
- Support patients through sustainable weight loss journeys.
- Optimize body composition while preserving muscle mass and metabolic health.
- Develop protocols for long-term weight maintenance and relapse prevention.
3. Clinical Protocol Development & Leadership
- Help develop and refine OPTM's metabolic health programs and evidence-based care pathways.
- Collaborate with nutritionists, health coaches, and medical teams to deliver integrated care.
- Review clinical outcomes and patient success metrics to ensure alignment with current medical guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in educational webinars, content development, and patient engagement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MD / DNB in Endocrinology, or MD/DNB in Internal Medicine with a dedicated specialization/fellowship in Endocrinology.
- Licensure: Valid and active medical registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / Delhi Medical Council (DMC).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in endocrinology and metabolic health.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Hands-on experience with GLP-1 therapies (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Liraglutide, etc.).
- Strong background in Obesity Medicine and lifestyle/preventive healthcare.
- Experience working with or an interest in Digital Health Platforms and healthtech environments.
- A passion for healthy ageing, longevity medicine, and holistic, integrated care models.
