A showroom helper (or store assistant) supports daily retail operations. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, organizing and restocking merchandise, assisting customers, and supporting sales staff with inventory and transactions. They ensure the showroom is presentable and runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Showroom Maintenance: Dust shelves, sweep/mop floors, and keep the retail and stock areas neat.
- Stock Management: Unpack new deliveries, organize godowns, and ensure products are correctly priced.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, offer basic refreshments, and assist them in locating products.
- Sales Support: Help sales executives during peak hours, retrieve sizes or trial items, and assist with packing or billing .
Requirements and Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, move stock, and stand for long periods.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, cooperative, and helpful personality.
- Basic Math: Familiarity with labeling and pricing.
- Education: Typically 10th or 12th pass, with 0-2 years of retail or helper experience preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
