Job Description: E-commerce Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a highly operational and commercially driven E-commerce & Digital Commerce Manager to own the day-to-day management and optimization of our D2C website, quick commerce platforms, and marketplace channels.
In this role, you will be the custodian of the online customer journey across platformsensuring seamless execution, strong visibility, and high conversion. You will work closely with Brand, Performance Marketing, and Planning teams to maximize traffic, conversion rates, and overall digital revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Storefront & Channel Management
- Own end-to-end management of the D2C website (e.g., Shopify, )
- Manage and optimize presence across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra etc.)
- Ensure a premium, consistent, and high-speed user experience across all channels
Catalog & Listing Optimization
- Manage SKU uploads, listings, and merchandising across all platforms
- Ensure accurate pricing, attributes, and high-quality imagery across D2C, marketplaces, and quick commerce
- Adapt content and listings based on platform-specific requirements and algorithms
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Analyze user behavior, funnel drop-offs, and platform analytics
- Execute A/B tests across website journeys and continuously optimize conversion rates and AOV
- Improve discoverability and conversion on marketplace and quick commerce platforms
Promotional & Campaign Execution
- Coordinate with Marketing and Buying teams to execute campaigns, platform deals, and seasonal promotions
- Ensure correct discounting, visibility, and inventory readiness across all channels
- Manage platform-specific levers like sponsored listings, deals, and visibility boosts
Cross-Selling & Basket Building
- Implement cross-sell and upsell strategies across D2C and marketplaces
- Optimize bundling and recommendations to drive higher basket size and repeat purchases
Inventory & Demand Alignment
- Work closely with Demand Planning to ensure real-time inventory sync across all platforms
- Minimize stock-outs and overstock situations, especially for high-velocity quick commerce channels
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align with Performance Marketing on landing pages and campaign funnels
- Work with Content/Creative teams to ensure high-quality, consistent brand representation across channels
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, D2C, marketplace, or quick commerce management
- Experience scaling consumer brands
Platform Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify (Shopify Plus preferred) or similar platforms
- Experience managing Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, etc.)
- Strong data orientation with ability to translate insights into action
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
UX & Consumer Understanding
- Strong understanding of digital consumer behavior across D2C and marketplace ecosystems
- Ability to improve UX, discoverability, and conversion
