Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all warehouse operations, including receipt of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and warehouse staff. The role ensures material availability, stock accuracy, food safety compliance, and timely dispatch while optimizing warehouse space and operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high performance.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare operational reports, including inventory, productivity, and KPI reports.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization.
- Manage logistics and transportation coordination to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and logistics operations.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
