About the Role:
DTPLabs is looking for a Data Annotation Intern to support our AI-driven document processing projects.
In this role, you will help create high-quality datasets by reviewing documents, identifying layout structures, and performing accuracy checks that support AI models for document understanding, OCR improvement, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Review PDFs, scanned documents, and digital files
- Annotate document elements such as:
- Headings
- Paragraphs
- Tables & cells
- Images/Figures
- Forms
- Signatures & stamps
- Checkboxes and other layout components
- Perform quality checks on completed annotations
- Validate document outputs for accuracy
- Follow annotation guidelines consistently
- Report unclear or incorrect document structures
Required Skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good written English
- Strong observation skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately with repetitive tasks
- Understanding of MS Word/PDF documents
- Good to Have
- Exposure to annotation tools (CVAT, Label Studio, etc.)
- Basic QA/testing knowledge
- Experience reviewing PDFs, DOCX, or HTML files
