EDVISOR is hiring for an Academic Counselor role in Kolkata. The job mainly focuses on guiding students for programs like BBA, BCA, BTech, and MBBS, while helping them choose the right academic and career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about courses, admissions, and career options
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and student inquiries
- Guide students in selecting suitable programs and colleges
- Support students through the admission process
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into enrollments
- Help students overcome academic challenges
- Maintain student records and counseling updates
- Coordinate with colleges/universities when needed
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Counseling and convincing ability
- Knowledge of BBA, BCA, BTech, or MBBS programs
- Lead handling and admission counseling experience
- Basic computer/CRM knowledge
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1–2+ years of experience in academic counseling or educational sales
- Experience in education consultancy or EdTech is a plus
