Job Summary
We are looking for a competent and compassionate ICU Staff Nurse with 3 years of critical care experience to provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. The role involves patient assessment, monitoring advanced life-support equipment, administering treatments, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients.
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, hemodynamic status, and clinical condition.
- Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including code blue situations.
- Assist physicians during bedside procedures, intubations, central line insertions, and other critical interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality care standards.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning.
- Mentor and support junior nursing staff when required.
- Ensure proper handover and continuity of care during shift changes.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Minimum 3 years of ICU/Critical Care experience.
- Strong knowledge of critical care protocols and emergency management.
Required Skills

- Expertise in ventilator management and cardiac monitoring.
- Ability to handle high-acuity patients and emergency situations.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Medical ICU (MICU), Surgical ICU (SICU), Cardiac ICU (CCU/CICU), Neuro ICU, or Trauma ICU.
- Exposure to NABH/JCI standards and quality protocols.
- Experience in handling ventilated and post-operative critical care patients.
