Field Technician
Location: Chennai
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Field Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot security and IT infrastructure systems at client locations. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel and work on-site while delivering quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install and configure networking devices, routers, switches, and access points.
- Perform cable laying, cable termination, and labeling.
- Install and maintain fiber optic cabling.
- Install and configure biometric attendance and access control systems.
- Assist in server rack installation and basic network setup.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Prepare installation and service reports.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of CCTV and Networking.
- Basic understanding of LAN and TCP/IP.
- Cable laying and termination skills.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work at client sites.
- Good communication and teamwork.
Qualification
- ITI or Diploma or related technical disciplines are preferred.
- Candidates with any relevant technical qualification may also apply.
