Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineering) to join our team. The role involves managing quantity take-offs, cost estimation, billing support, and cost control activities for construction projects. The candidate will ensure accurate measurements, cost monitoring, and compliance with contract requirements while coordinating with site, billing, and planning teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications
Prepare and verify BOQs, estimates, and cost statements
Monitor project costs and support cost control measures
Assist in preparation and verification of RA bills and final bills
Coordinate with site engineers for measurements and work progress
Analyze variations, extra items, and rate analysis
Maintain proper documentation related to quantities, costs, and contracts
Support procurement and material reconciliation activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management
Applications from other domain will not be considered.
Experience
3-10 years of experience in Quantity Surveyor roles in construction industry.
Skills
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Good understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation, and rate analysis
Knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an added advantage
