Job Summary
The Senior Designer is responsible for leading the design function for commercial interior fit-out projects, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative, functional, and technically sound workplace environments. The role oversees multiple projects simultaneously, manages client relationships, drives design excellence, and provides leadership to the design team. The Senior Designer plays a critical role in translating client requirements into creative design solutions while ensuring alignment with project budgets, timelines, and execution requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design development and execution of multiple commercial interior fit-out projects from concept to project handover.
- Develop workplace strategies, space planning solutions, and design concepts that align with client objectives and business needs.
- Manage client presentations, design workshops, and stakeholder meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve all design deliverables, including layouts, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, renderings, and material specifications.
- Provide design direction and technical guidance to Designers, Assistant Designers, Interior Designers, and Drafting teams.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance of all design outputs with project requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate closely with MEP, QS, Procurement, Planning, Factory, and Project Execution teams to ensure constructability and smooth implementation.
- Lead design coordination activities with consultants, architects, landlords, and external stakeholders.
- Review shop drawings, mock-ups, material submissions, and value engineering proposals.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of all design milestones.
- Support business development activities through client pitches, presentations, and proposal development.
- Drive innovation by incorporating industry trends, sustainable design practices, workplace strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Identify and resolve design-related challenges during project execution.
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring continuous improvement in design capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in Design, Architecture, or related field will be an advantage.
Experience
- 8–9 years of experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out, Corporate Workplace Design, Architecture, or Design Consultancy.
- Proven experience leading large-scale commercial interior projects from concept through execution.
- Strong experience in client management, team leadership, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Experience managing and mentoring design teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong expertise in Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, and other visualization tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong knowledge of workplace strategy, space planning, interior construction detailing, and fit-out methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of materials, finishes, furniture systems, and construction processes.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and project execution requirements.
- Proficiency in project coordination, design management, and documentation systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
