Job Title: Accounts Executive – Receivable, Payable & GST

Job Summary
Infracon is looking for an experienced Accounts Executive with 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and GST compliance.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in maintaining financial records while ensuring timely payments, collections, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Track customer payments and outstanding receivables.
- Follow up with customers for timely collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Generate AR aging reports and MIS.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices and verify supporting documents.
- Prepare payment schedules and coordinate timely vendor payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions.
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and reconcile GST data.
- Assist in filing monthly and annual GST returns.
- Match purchase and sales data with GST portal.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and maintain statutory records.
General Accounting
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions in ERP/Tally.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accounting documents and financial records.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits.
- Prepare MIS reports as required by management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Good understanding of GST compliance and taxation.
- Experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime or any ERP software.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 1.5+ years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Experience in the construction, infrastructure, or contracting industry will be preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of TDS and basic taxation.
- Experience in ERP-based accounting systems.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
