CNC / VMC / HMC Machine OperatorPosition SummaryThe CNC/VMC/HMC Machine Operator sets up, adjusts, and operates standard and specialized machine centers. The ideal candidate reads technical blueprints, performs precise measurements, loads raw materials, and monitors machine operations to ensure the production of flawless components that meet strict quality standards and tolerances.Core Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Run multiple CNC, VMC, and HMC production machines simultaneously according to manufacturing schedules.
- Setup and Calibration: Load raw materials, install correct fixtures, align components, and load tooling according to specific job setup sheets.
- Component Level Adjustments: Make necessary offset adjustments, change worn-out tools, and troubleshoot minor programmatic pauses or mechanical errors.
- Quality Inspections: Utilize micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, and height gauges to inspect finished parts against engineering blueprints.
- Preventative Maintenance: Clean machinery daily, check fluid levels, grease components, and log routine maintenance activities to minimize machine downtime.
- Safety Enforcement: Follow all workshop safety standards, wear correct PPE, and keep work cells clean, organized, and free of physical hazards.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Experience: 0 - 1year of proven experience operating industrial CNC, VMC, and HMC machine centers.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of machine axes (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis systems) and standard G-code and M-code programming languages.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read, interpret, and work directly from complex mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Measurement Proficiency: High accuracy in using standard precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift raw materials up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods during standard shifts.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. A technical certification in CNC Machining, Tool and Die Making, or Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹16,500.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
