KIA Master Technician Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnosis of complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
- Repair and maintain KIA vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
- Use KIA diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and perform system updates.
- Complete engine, transmission, hybrid, EV, suspension, steering, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose and repair CAN communication, ADAS, and electronic control systems.
- Carry out warranty repairs in compliance with KIA policies and procedures.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and final quality checks on repaired vehicles.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure customer concerns are resolved.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and technical documentation.
- Follow KIA technical service bulletins (TSBs) and service manuals.
- Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices on diagnostic and repair procedures.
- Support the service advisor with technical explanations when required.
- Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain workshop equipment and specialized diagnostic tools in good working condition.
- Keep certifications current by attending KIA technical training programs.
- Assist in resolving difficult or repeat repair cases.
- Achieve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.68 per month
