Core Responsibilities
- Courtroom Representation: Argue cases, present evidence, cross-examine witnesses, and file motions before courts, tribunals, and judicial bodies.
- Legal Advisory: Analyze complex legal problems, assess potential risks, and counsel clients on their statutory rights and strategic legal options.
- Drafting & Pleading: Prepare legal notices, petitions, affidavits, bail applications, contracts, written submissions, and appeals.
- Legal Research: Research statutes, regulations, and judicial precedents (case law) to build persuasive arguments and litigation strategies.
- Dispute Resolution & Negotiation: Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and arbitration to achieve favorable out-of-court settlements.
- Client & Case Management: Conduct client intake meetings, maintain confidential case files, manage court timelines, and handle judicial filings.
Qualifications & Requirements
CategoryTypical Requirements
EducationBachelor of Laws (LL.B / B.A. LL.B) from an accredited university.
LicensingActive enrollment with the State/National Bar Council and valid license to practice law.
Experience0–3 years for Junior Advocates;
5+ years for Senior Litigation Associates or Independent Counsel.
Key ToolsLegal research platforms (SCC Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, Westlaw) and court e-filing systems.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
