Godown Manager (Liquor Distribution)
Location: Mumbai (Thane)
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Godown Manager to oversee warehouse operations for liquor distribution. The candidate will manage stock handling, dispatch planning, inventory control, excise compliance, manpower supervision, and coordination with transporters and sales teams.
The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG, beverage, or liquor warehouse operations and must be comfortable handling large inventory volumes with proper documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse/godown operations
- Handle inward and outward stock movement
- Maintain inventory and stock accuracy
- Coordinate dispatch and delivery schedules
- Handle TP (Transport Permit) and excise documentation
- Supervise loading, unloading, and warehouse staff
- Maintain stock records, invoices, and challans
- Conduct physical stock verification and reconciliation
- Ensure proper storage, safety, and cleanliness of the godown
- Coordinate with sales, accounts, transporters, and excise authorities
- Monitor breakage, shortages, and damage control
- Prepare daily operational and stock reports.
Requirements
- 3–8 years experience in liquor distribution, beverage, FMCG, or warehouse operations
- Experience in TP handling and excise-related processes is mandatory/preferred
- Knowledge of Maharashtra liquor distribution procedures is an advantage
