Okta Certified Administrator status or a higher-level Okta certification
10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years specializing in Information Security (InfoSec) or Identity and Access Management (IAM)
3+ years of in-depth, hands-on technical experience with Okta Identity Engine, Okta Workflows, and Okta Identity Threat Protection
Expert-level knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) and federated authentication protocols, including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) provisioning
Demonstrated skill in configuring Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), adaptive authentication, user enrollment, and access governance policies within Okta environments
Proven ability to integrate both on-premises and SaaS applications with Okta across multiple Identity Providers (IdPs)
Experience developing Okta inline and event hooks, automation scripts, and designing complex access request workflows
Strong coding skills in one or more of the following languages: GoLang, Python, Java, or JavaScript, especially for building API-driven identity solutions
Hands-on experience with RESTful and native APIs, Demonstration of DPoP (Demonstration of Proof-of-Possession), secure coding practices, and utilizing Git for version control
Proficiency with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and automation of Okta management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
Strong understanding of Zero Trust Identity and Access Management (IAM), Active Directory (AD)/LDAP integrations, and familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies
