Job Summary
SMITIV TECHNOLOGIES is looking for a talented and motivated Software Developer with 3 years of experience to join our development team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, hands-on development experience, good problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications.
- Understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Build and integrate APIs and database-driven applications.
- Debug and resolve application issues effectively.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
- Work closely with developers, testers, and other team members.
- Take ownership of assigned features and modules.
- Perform unit testing and support application testing.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation and development-related records.
- Stay updated with new technologies and development practices.
Required Skills
- Around 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, C#, or similar.
- Good understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and programming fundamentals.
- Experience working with REST APIs and web services.
- Good knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Understanding of SDLC and software development practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to write clean and efficient code.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
