About Us:
We are a new pizza business launching soon in Khavada,Bhuj. We focus on high-quality, freshly made pizzas using a strong, performance-driven kitchen setup. We are looking for an experienced pizza chef to lead our dough production, topping preparation, and oven operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare pizza dough from scratch daily (mixing, proofing, portioning)
· Operate commercial pizza ovens (deck / conveyor / wood-fired – specify based on your oven choice)
· Prepare and portion sauces, cheeses, and toppings
· Assemble pizzas quickly and consistently according to recipes
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, oven station, and storage
· Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI)
· Train junior kitchen staff (if any) on pizza-making techniques
· Help with inventory management – track dough, sauce, and topping usage
· Ensure every pizza meets quality, taste, and presentation standards
Requirements:
· Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a pizza chef in a commercial pizzeria or QSR (Domino’s, Pizza Hut, La Pino’s, or independent pizza shop)
· Knowledge of dough handling, proofing times, and oven temperature control
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Basic understanding of food cost control
· Willingness to work in Bhuj (local candidates preferred, but accommodation help can be discussed)
Preferred:
· Experience with spiral mixers and dough dividers
· Knowledge of multiple crust styles (thin crust, pan, Neapolitan)
