We are seeking an experienced Data Center Maintenance Operations Technician (MST) with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in critical infrastructure management. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% uptime, reliability, and efficient operation of critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within our data center facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Critical Infrastructure Operations: Monitor, operate, and maintain critical data center infrastructure, including UPS systems, Generators, PDUs, ATS, Transformers, Switchgear, Chillers, CRAHs/CRACs, AHUs, and BMS/EPMS platforms.
- Routine & Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and routine inspections on electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems to prevent outages and equipment failures.
- Emergency Response & Incident Management: Act as a primary responder for facility alerts, alarms, and emergency events. Perform initial troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (RCA), and escalation following standard procedures.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise third-party vendors and contractors performing routine servicing, major repairs, or project work to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to MOPs (Methods of Procedure) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Work Order & System Tracking: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders, track equipment history, and maintain updated documentation.
- Capacity & Efficiency Management: Monitor electrical loads, cooling capacities, airflow management, and PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) metrics.
- Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash protection, EHS guidelines, and local electrical codes.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of direct experience in data center operations, mission-critical facility maintenance, or a high-availability MEP environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of AC/DC power distribution, high-voltage equipment, emergency generator systems, HVAC, chillers, and fire suppression systems (FM-200, pre-action sprinkler systems, etc.).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Certified Data Center Technician (CDCTP), EPI CDCP, or equivalent.
- Trade license (Electrician, HVAC, or Journeyman license).
- OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent local safety certification.
- Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong written/verbal communication skills, and proficiency with CMMS, BMS, and DCIM software.
- Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work shifts (including overnight, weekends, and holidays) and participate in an on-call rotation as needed

- Salary: ₹24,000 net in-hand per month.
