We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Works Unit Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the works unit. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating material movement, supervising packaging activities, managing labour, and maintaining records and documentation on the computer.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate loading and unloading of materials.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock movement.
- Supervise packaging activities and ensure timely dispatch.
- Manage and coordinate labour activities.
- Create and maintain stock and work-related documents on the computer.
- Ensure proper record keeping and reporting.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the work area.
Educational Qualification
✅ Any Graduate
Required Skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage labour and daily operations efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock handling.
- Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
Experience
- Freshers may apply.
- Experience in warehouse operations, stock management, packaging, or production supervision will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidate residing in or near HAPA GIDC, Jamnagar.
- Candidate willing to work in a long-term role.
- Physically active and capable of supervising shop-floor activities.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
