Key Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff and daily cleaning activities.
- Prepare duty rosters and assign work areas.
- Ensure cleanliness of wards, OP areas, ICUs, OT areas, offices, washrooms, and public areas.
- Monitor housekeeping materials and cleaning chemicals usage.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
- Train housekeeping staff on hygiene, safety, and infection control procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of hospital areas.
- Maintain attendance and staff discipline.
- Coordinate with other departments for cleaning requirements.
- Ensure availability of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Handle complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Maintain records and reports related to housekeeping activities.
