Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Assessment & Support
- Identify students with learning difficulties, developmental delays, or disabilities.
- Conduct screening, assessment, and individual education planning (IEP).
- Provide individualized and small-group remedial instruction.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed case records.
Inclusive Classroom Support
- Collaborate with subject teachers to implement inclusive teaching strategies.
- Adapt curriculum, teaching methods, and assessments as per student needs.
- Support classroom management for students requiring additional assistance.
CBSE Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain IEPs, progress reports, and assessment records as per CBSE norms.
- Assist in providing concessions, accommodations, and exemptions for CBSE exams.
- Support documentation required during CBSE inspections and audits.
Parent & Stakeholder Communication
- Counsel and guide parents on learning strategies and developmental progress.
- Conduct regular meetings with parents to discuss interventions and outcomes.
- Coordinate with external professionals (therapists, counselors, psychologists) when required.
Training & Awareness
- Sensitize teachers and staff on inclusive education practices.
- Conduct workshops or orientation sessions for teachers and parents.
- Promote awareness of learning differences and special needs within the school.
Student Well-being
- Support students’ emotional and social development.
- Encourage self-esteem, independence, and positive behavior.
- Ensure child safety and adhere to POCSO and child protection policies.
Qualifications & Eligibility (As per CBSE Norms)
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Special Education
- RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration – Mandatory
- Specialization in Learning Disabilities / Intellectual Disability / Autism Spectrum Disorder / Multiple Disabilities preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Special Educator in a CBSE or recognized school preferred.

Pay: ₹13,938.54 - ₹40,713.16 per month
