About the Role
Pleasant Weddings is looking for a creative and dynamic Design & Decor Executive who can manage event décor planning while also handling client coordination and sales. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics, knowledge of event styling, and the ability to convert client requirements into successful event concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan décor concepts for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate with vendors, florists, fabricators, and production teams for smooth execution.
- Prepare mood boards, theme presentations, and décor proposals for clients.
- Handle client meetings and understand their event requirements and budget.
- Generate leads and assist in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Suggest creative décor ideas according to trends and client preferences.
- Supervise on-site décor setup and ensure quality execution.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and vendors.
- Work closely with the event planning team for seamless event management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event design, décor, or event sales.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Creative mindset with good knowledge of wedding and event décor trends.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, PowerPoint, or design software is preferred.
- Sales-oriented personality with negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on event sites when required.
