Account Executive (Finance & Operations)

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage the day-to-day financial operations across multiple business verticals. The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, and capable of working independently while supporting the company's financial growth and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle accounting and financial operations for multiple business verticals.
- Monitor and manage daily cash flow to ensure smooth business operations.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.
- Compile, verify, and maintain records of all business expenses.
- Visit company sites to collect receipts, cash, vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure all financial records are updated and organized.
- Coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant (CA) for taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting.
- Recommend and assist in implementing financial policies, internal controls, and process improvements from time to time.
- Track post-tax profits and assist management in identifying suitable investment opportunities for surplus funds.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and business expansion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business operations.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Tally, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
- Good understanding of cash flow management, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Willingness to travel to company sites for financial documentation and collections.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with multiple business units or companies.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to suggest process improvements.
