A Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) for Building Material Products is responsible for leading sales operations across multiple territories within a zone, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing sales teams, distributors, and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute zonal sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Lead and mentor Territory Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Executives.
- Manage distributor, dealer, and channel partner networks across the zone.
- Drive project sales through builders, contractors, architects, consultants, and developers.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand product penetration.
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, budgets, and profitability.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Ensure timely collections and channel health.
- Collaborate with marketing, technical, and product teams to support business growth.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
