Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Retail Manager to oversee the entire operations and business development of our retail showrooms within a designated region. As the Regional Manager, you will hold complete P&L accountability for your territory, driving strategic growth, ensuring flawless store operations, and leading a high-performing team to exceed business targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Showroom Operations & Management
· End-to-End Ownership: Oversee the complete daily operations of all optical showrooms within the assigned region to ensure brand compliance and standard operating procedures are strictly met.
· Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, product mix, and shrinkage. Ensure optimal inventory management across stores to prevent stock-outs or over-stocking of frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
· Customer Experience: Maintain exceptionally high standards of customer service, ensuring store environments are welcoming and optical dispensing meets quality benchmarks.
2. Business Development & Target Achievement
· Revenue Growth: Drive the region’s sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and profitability targets.
· Market Expansion: Identify local business opportunities, tie-ups, and community outreach programs (e.g., eye testing camps, corporate tie-ups) to increase footfall and customer acquisition.
· Performance Analysis: Review daily/weekly sales reports, analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like average bill value and conversion rates, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
3. Store Work & Team Leadership
· Ground-Level Support: Regularly visit showrooms to conduct audits, resolve operational bottlenecks, and step in to assist with any "floor work" or escalations as needed.
· People Management: Recruit, train, and mentor Store Managers, Optometrists, and Sales Executives. Foster a motivating environment that promotes high performance and low turnover.
· Visual Merchandising: Ensure that product displays, marketing materials, and store cleanliness reflect a premium optical retail brand.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Regional Sales & Revenue: Achievement vs. Target.
· Store Profitability: Cost control, margin management, and shrinkage reduction.
· Customer Satisfaction: Net Promoter Score (NPS) or repeat customer rates.
· Team Performance: Audit compliance scores and staff retention rates.
Requirements & Qualifications
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in retail management, with at least 2 years in a multi-store or regional management role (Optical retail experience is highly preferred).
· Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent team-building and leadership skills, and a proven track record of hitting aggressive sales targets.
· Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across the designated region to monitor store health.
