Position: Founding Office: GTM Lead
Location: Bengaluru
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Experience Required: 3-5 years
This is a founding office role. You will own how the client goes to market, sitting directly with the founders. Think of it as a combination of GTM engineer and product marketing manager. One day you are writing positioning and battlecards, the next you are building an automated outbound campaign, the next you are on a call with a VP of Engineering at a food delivery unicorn.
They are not hiring a strategist who delegates. They are hiring a builder who picks up the phone.
- Design, build, and run outbound across email and LinkedIn using tools like Smartlead, Apollo, HeyReach, and RB2B
- Mine intent signals: GitHub activity, hiring data, product analytics, website visitors
- Use LLM APIs to personalize outreach at scale without it sounding templated
- Own pipeline metrics end to end: reply rates, meetings booked, POC conversion
- Own positioning and messaging for an entirely new category of testing
- Build sales collateral that closes: one-pagers, ROI calculators, battlecards, demo narratives
- Turn customer wins into case studies and turn founder knowledge into content
- Shape how we show up on the website, in decks, and in the market
- Document what works into repeatable playbooks: ICP definitions, sequences, objection handling, demo flows
- Build the systems and processes the first SDRs and AEs will run on
- You are employee-stage early. What you write becomes how this company sells for years
- Talk to prospects, customers, and champions constantly
- Run discovery calls, support demos, and unblock stuck deals alongside the founders
- Feed what you hear back into product and positioning
- 3 to 5 years of experience in GTM, growth, product marketing, sales engineering, or founding team roles at a startup
- IIT, ISB, IIM, or BITS background
- Hands-on to the core. You would rather build the campaign yourself than write a brief for someone else to build it
- Genuinely love talking to people. Cold calls, customer conversations, and conference floors energize you rather than drain you
- Strong writer. Positioning, cold emails, and collateral live or die on your copy
- Comfortable with tools and light code: APIs, spreadsheets, automation platforms, LLM prompting. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should never be blocked by tooling
- Systems thinker. You turn one-off wins into documented, repeatable playbooks
- Bonus: experience selling to engineering or QA teams, or in devtools or B2B SaaS
- Founding office seat with direct founder access and real ownership of revenue
- You define the GTM function rather than inheriting one
- Meaningful equity
- A product with real pull: paying enterprise customers, live POCs in India and the US, and a category that is being written right now
