Job Requirements* Key Responsibilities* We are looking for a Global / U.S. Benefits Sr Associate to oversee the end-to-end administration, governance, compliance, vendor management, analytics, and employee support for employee benefits programs. This role ensures accurate benefits delivery, regulatory compliance, effective vendor partnerships, seamless system integrations, and high-quality employee experience across U.S. and global populations. The role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, vendors, brokers, AskHR, and Communications teams to manage both strategic and operational aspects of benefits. Benefits Strategy & Governance • Define and maintain benefits philosophy, guiding principles, and strategy aligned with total rewards and business objectives • Design and govern benefits, wellness, retirement, and leave programs for U.S. and global populations • Create, manage, and update benefits policies and plan documentation Vendor & Broker Management • Lead selection, RFPs, renewals, and ongoing management of benefits vendors and brokers • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) • Monitor vendor performance and provide scorecard inputs • Partner with HRIS and Payroll teams to manage benefits data integrity across systems • Maintain working relationships with key vendors (medical, retirement, wellness, leave, EAP, benefits administration platforms) Benefits Operations & Administration • Oversee enrollment, eligibility, and benefits administration processes • Maintain and govern plan documents, SPDs, and vendor documentation • Administer retirement, pension, and savings plans (401k, DCPP, SERP, DB plans) • Manage funding activities including HSA, pension, trust, and retirement plan contributions • Support leave and disability programs (STD, LTD, family/medical, ADA) and return-to-work tracking Benefits Data Management & System Interfaces
• Maintain and monitor interfaces with vendors (Empyrean, Vanguard, SunLife, Unum, HSA Bank, etc.) • Review payroll pre-checks and manage vendor/interface error resolution • Ensure system access, data accuracy, privacy, and operational efficiency Compliance, Audits & Reporting • Ensure compliance with U.S. and global regulations (ACA, ERISA, SECURE Act, tax and pension regulations) • File required reports, disclosures, and regulatory submissions (PBGC, PBGF, PCORI, etc.) • Conduct audits (401k, eligibility, accumulator, payroll, non-discrimination testing) • Support corrective actions resulting from audit findings and compliance reviews Benefits Analytics & Cost Monitoring • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations (Health Trust, HSA/FSA/HRA, pensions) • Produce analytics and reports for Finance, Accounting, Tax, and leadership stakeholders • Monitor benefits costs, funding accuracy, and financial exposure Communication & Education • Develop and execute benefits communication strategies for employees and HRBPs • Create benefits guides, FAQs, newsletters, campaigns, and web content • Lead Open Enrollment communications, webinars, and new hire orientation sessions • Partner with internal Communications teams and external vendors for effective messaging • Promote benefits literacy, engagement, and wellness participation AskHR Case Management – Second Line Support • Provide advanced support for complex benefits inquiries (medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, COBRA, retiree benefits, retirement) • Handle demographic corrections, dependent verification, appeals, coverage gaps, and claims escalations • Support life events including employee/retiree death process • M aintain and update AskHR knowledge base, learning materials, and SOPs Wellness & Engagement Programs • Partner with wellness vendors to deliver biometric screenings, challenges, and incentive programs • Analyze wellness participation data and manage eligibility files • Coordinate wellness communications and engagement initiatives SOP Creation & Continuous Improvement • Create, update, and obtain approvals for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Drive operational consistency and continuous process improvement • Support change management for benefits programs, vendors, and system
