Special Educator (Inclusive Education)
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Compensation: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month
(Commensurate with qualifications, RCI registration validity, and relevant experience in inclusive school settings).
Role Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Special Educator to be placed in leading CBSE-affiliated schools across Bengaluru. You will serve as a vital link in the inclusive ecosystem, ensuring that students with diverse learning needs are empowered within the mainstream classroom. Your role is to bridge the gap between curriculum demands and individual student capabilities, while maintaining full compliance with CBSE and RCI mandates.
Key Responsibilities
IEP Development & Monitoring: Design, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique neurodivergent profile.
Curriculum & Classroom Adaptation: Proactively modify lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment methods to ensure they are accessible to all learners.
Academic & Behavioral Support: Provide direct, high-impact in-class support or pull-out sessions to bridge learning gaps and implement evidence-based behavior support strategies.
Examination Accommodations: Manage the documentation and implementation of special provisions for school-based and Board examinations as per current CBSE guidelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with general educators, school counselors, and parents to create a seamless, supportive, and inclusive school culture.
Student Advocacy: Champion the social-emotional well-being of students, addressing emotional vulnerabilities and promoting a culture of neuro-inclusivity.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain detailed student progress records and ensure all interventions align with RCI standards for inclusive education.
Mandatory Qualifications
Academic Background: Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. (General) with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education OR a Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education.
Regulatory Requirement: A valid and active RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) Registration is mandatory.
Experience: Prior experience in a school setting (CBSE/ICSE/International) is highly preferred.

Compensation Note
The salary range of ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month is positioned competitively for professional educators in the Bengaluru school sector. Placement within this band will be determined based on the candidate's years of experience, specific specialization (e.g., LD, ASD, ID), and technical proficiency in IEP management.
