Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Store Manager to lead daily operations at Vanitham Margin Free Supermarket - Melattur. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, retail management skills, and a passion for team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete store operations, including inventory, staff supervision, and customer experience.
- Drive sales performance, manage shrinkage, and ensure profitability.
- Schedule staff shifts, delegate tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
- Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
- Ensure store hygiene, safety protocols, and cleanliness are upheld.
- Manage billing accuracy, cash handling, and the POS system.
- Prepare and submit sales and operational reports to management.
- Implement company promotions, policies, and visual merchandising.
- Onboard and train new staff; support development of existing team members.
- Should be willing to work between 9:30 AM to 07:30PM - Full time
Qualifications & Skills
- Plus Two / Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong team leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, MS Office
- Ability to handle customer issues calmly and professionally.
