Job Description:
The Technician in Laboratory Medicine will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, process, and analyze biological samples from patients.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards.
- Document test results and communicate findings to healthcare team members.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain organized and accurate laboratory records.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
