Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth across Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Institutional, and Private Sector projects. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing tendering and bidding activities, building strategic relationships, expanding business networks, and coordinating with internal teams to secure new assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue business opportunities in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, Infrastructure, Aviation, Railways, Urban Development, Institutional, and Private sectors.
- Monitor and track tenders, EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and procurement opportunities through various portals and networks.
- Lead the complete bid management process, including opportunity assessment, pre-qualification, documentation, proposal preparation, and submission.
- Coordinate with technical, design, finance, legal, and management teams for bid preparation and project acquisition.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, clients, consultants, developers, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, client meetings, and networking forums.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and growth sectors.
- Support strategic partnerships, consortium formation, and joint venture opportunities.
- Maintain a database of prospective clients, opportunities, and business intelligence.
- Prepare business development reports, forecasts, presentations, and management updates.
- Assist leadership in developing and implementing business growth strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing , B.Tech / BE (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Infrastructure, Construction or related disciplines).
- 4–10 years of experience in Business Development, Tendering, Bid Management, or Client Relationship Management.
- Prior experience in consultancy, infrastructure, architecture, engineering, EPC, urban planning, aviation, railways, or construction sectors will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of Government procurement processes, GeM, CPPP, Railways, Airports, Metro, PSU, and Institutional tendering systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple pursuits simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office, proposal preparation, and business reporting.
