About the Role
As an Engineer in our Tech Institutional Digital Banking Operations domain, you’ll play a key role in supporting the GoldTier Tech Team, which ensures the secure, compliant, and reliable delivery of the KYC platform, enabling seamless onboarding, data integrity, and cross-system integration across ANZ’s Institutional Banking ecosystem
This role manage the tribe backlog, working closely with others to prioritise work, manage interdependencies and distil features to epics. TPLs define what success looks like for the tribe and then measure their progress against that. In some cases, this role will also manage a chapter of Product Owners.

Work Hours: 7 am to 4 pm What will your day look like?
As an Engineer, you will:
Perform end-to-end deployment activities, including configuration changes and environment updates
Independently manage application issues, troubleshoot defects, and drive timely resolution
Contribute to enhancements, bug fixes, and platform upgrades to improve system capabilities
Conduct log analysis and performance monitoring, identifying and resolving bottlenecks
Support and maintain integration workflows across upstream and downstream systems
Collaborate actively with Lead Engineers and cross-functional teams on delivery commitments
Provide guidance and mentoring support to junior engineers where required
Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Engage with application partners, vendors, and business stakeholders for end-to-end integration support
Support production environments, including incident management and root cause analysis
Drive long-term fixes and stability improvements based on recurring issues
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong hands-on experience working on GoldTier modules, configurations, and integrations
Good understanding of integration patterns using IBM MQ, Kafka, File-based transfers
Experience with deployment, release management, and configuration changes
Familiarity with Log analysis tool, Monitoring tools and performance tuning practices
Experience in enhancements, bug fixing, and application upgrades
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management
Strong exposure to production support, incident management, and RCA processes
Ability to work collaboratively with leads, engineers, and stakeholders
Strong capability to engage with vendors and application partners
Good communication and documentation skills
Demonstrates ownership and accountability in delivering outcomes
Shows eagerness to learn and grow into higher responsibilities
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced delivery environment
Ability to follow structured processes while also driving continuous improvements
