HR & IR (Human Resources & Industrial Relations) Manager bridges the gap between management and the workforce. They manage broad HR functions while focusing specifically on union negotiations, labor law compliance, and resolving workplace disputes to maintain a productive, fair work environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Labor Relations & Unions: Act as the primary liaison with labor unions, leading collective bargaining processes and contract negotiations.
- Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and collective agreements.
- Dispute & Grievance Handling: Investigate and resolve workplace conflicts, employee grievances, and disciplinary procedures fairly and legally.
- Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies—such as compensation, work hours, and benefits—tailored for plant or factory environments.
Key Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Business Management, or Law.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant HR or labor relations experience, often requiring a strong background in manufacturing or factory settings.
- Soft Skills: Superior negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills are essential
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
