Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Compression Operator to join our pharmaceutical production team. The ideal candidate should have a Biology or relevant science background and hands-on experience in tablet compression operations and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor tablet compression machines efficiently.
- Perform machine setup, changeover, and adjustments as per production requirements.
- Monitor tablet parameters such as weight, hardness, thickness, and appearance.
- Ensure smooth tablet compression and maintain product quality standards.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow GMP, SOPs, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing and production records.
- Perform machine and production area cleaning as per approved procedures.
- Report machine breakdowns and production issues to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Graduate with Biology or a relevant Science background.
- Experience: Experienced candidates required.
- Relevant experience as a Compression Operator in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Good knowledge of tablet compression machines and processes.
- Understanding of GMP and SOP guidelines.
- Basic machine troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
