Event Executive - Job DescriptionPosition: Event Executive

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Event Executive to plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, client engagements, and internal initiatives across JLL India operations. The ideal candidate brings proven event management expertise and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Execution
The Event Executive will conceptualize and deliver end-to-end event management for corporate conferences, client meetings, property launches, town halls, employee engagement activities, and industry networking events. This includes developing event concepts aligned with business objectives, creating detailed project plans with timelines and budgets, and coordinating all logistical elements from venue selection through post-event evaluation.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Responsibilities include identifying and negotiating with vendors including venues, caterers, AV suppliers, decorators, and entertainment providers. The role requires building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business lines, managing multiple vendor contracts simultaneously, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met within budget parameters.
Budget & Financial Management
The position involves preparing detailed event budgets, tracking expenses against allocations, negotiating competitive rates with suppliers, and providing financial reporting and reconciliation for all events. Cost optimization while maintaining quality standards is essential.
Marketing & Communications Support
Collaboration with marketing teams on event promotion strategies, creation of event collateral and signage, coordination of digital and social media coverage, and management of event registrations and attendee communications are key components of this role.
On-Site Event Management
The Event Executive will oversee on-ground execution, manage event setup and breakdown, coordinate with vendors and support staff during events, handle real-time problem-solving and contingency management, and ensure seamless attendee experiences throughout.
Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or related field is required, along with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in corporate event management, preferably within real estate, professional services, or corporate sectors.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in event management software and tools, strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), budget management and financial tracking capabilities, and project management fundamentals are essential. Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms is advantageous.
Core Competencies
The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and regional languages, budget consciousness with cost management abilities, creative problem-solving under pressure, and keen attention to detail with quality focus.
