Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintenance & Repair: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on high-voltage systems (up to 480V or higher), motors, and control panels.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing malfunctions in stone cutting machinery, conveyor belts, polishing machines, and bridge saws, often during fast-paced, high-volume production.
- Installation: Installing new electrical infrastructure, conduit, wiring, and machinery, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
- Component Replacement: Replacing damaged parts such as sensors, actuators, contactors, switches, and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
- PLC Troubleshooting: Basic troubleshooting of PLC-based machine and process control systems.
- Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety procedures, particularly Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) for high-voltage equipment, to prevent accidents.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
