Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Student Counsellor to guide students in choosing suitable courses and career pathways. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their academic and career goals, providing appropriate guidance, and supporting them throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and understand their academic, career, and course preferences.
- Provide accurate information about available courses, programs, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.
- Guide students in selecting suitable courses based on their interests and career goals.
- Handle student and parent enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Explain admission procedures, documentation, and course requirements.
- Maintain regular follow-up with students throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission and enrolment procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Stay updated on courses, educational opportunities, career pathways, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in student counselling, education, admissions, sales, or a related field.
- Freshers with good communication and interpersonal skills are welcome.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and relationship-building skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
