DGFT & Trade Compliance Executive
About the Role
- Manage Import Export Code (IEC) registrations, modifications, and renewals.
Handle DGFT licenses, authorizations, and export-import registrations.
Ensure compliance with the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), DGFT notifications, and applicable trade schemes.
Process applications and submissions through the DGFT portal.
Advise internal teams and clients on tariff classifications, import-export regulations, and trade compliance.
Coordinate with DGFT authorities, Customs, and other government agencies for approvals and regulatory matters.
Required Skills & Expertise
- DGFT & Foreign Trade
- Strong knowledge of Import Export Code (IEC) procedures.Hands-on experience with EPCG, Advance Authorization, RoDTEP, SEIS, and other DGFT schemes.Understanding of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Handbook of Procedures (HBP).
- Trade Compliance
- Working knowledge of the Customs Act, GST, IGST, and FDI regulations.
- Familiarity with import-export compliance requirements and trade regulations.Understanding of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements and product-specific import/export restrictions.
- Documentation
- Experience in handling commercial invoices, shipping bills, certificates of origin, and related export-import documents.
- Ability to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies and documentation issues.
- Knowledge of post-export documentation, export obligations, and duty drawback claims.
Systems & Technology
- Proficiency in the DGFT Portal for online applications and license management.
- Working knowledge of ICEGATE and Customs e-filing systems.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Quality & Regulatory Standards
- Knowledge of BIS, ISI, and other mandatory quality certifications and regulatory standards applicable to imports and exports.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
