Manufacturing Unit & Corporate Office
We are looking for a result-oriented, passionate and like-minded HR Generalist to join us in our exciting journey. This role is primarily focused on end-to-end HR and compliance operations for our manufacturing unit hiring, joining formalities, PF/ESIC, overtime and statutory compliance with a smaller share of time supporting IT (software and hardware) hiring for the corporate office.
Roles & Responsibilities
A. Manufacturing Unit HR & Compliance
- Own end-to-end recruitment for the manufacturing unit sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing positions for workers, operators, technicians and shop-floor staff.
- Manage the complete joining and onboarding process for manufacturing staff documentation, induction, ID/access setup and coordination with the unit team.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of PF, ESIC, overtime (OT) computation and other statutory salary-linked deductions applicable to manufacturing/factory workers.
- Coordinate with payroll/finance on PF and ESIC contributions, OT calculations, and ensure timely and accurate processing for all manufacturing unit staff.
- Ensure statutory and labour law compliance for the manufacturing unit, including maintenance of compliance registers, licenses and audit-readiness.
- Track attendance, leave and shift records for manufacturing staff and workers; resolve day-to-day HR queries on the shop floor.
- Handle contract/manpower documentation, verification and compliance for contractor-supplied workers at the unit.
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters and exit formalities for manufacturing unit staff with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Liaise with statutory consultants, labour compliance vendors and government offices as required for factory HR compliance.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and internal communication for the manufacturing workforce.
B. IT & Corporate Office Hiring Support
- Support recruitment for IT roles (software and hardware) at the corporate office sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build effective hiring pipelines for IT and other corporate positions.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases and documentation for corporate office staff in compliance with company policy.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, SOPs and employee handbooks applicable across the organization.
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, feedback processes and training/development initiatives for corporate staff.
- Liaise with recruitment vendors/agencies and background verification agencies for corporate hiring needs.
Candidate Skill Set
- 1-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Executive or similar role, with meaningful exposure to a manufacturing/factory environment.
- Strong, working knowledge of manufacturing/factory HR practices hiring and joining formalities for workers, PF, ESIC, overtime (OT) computation and statutory salary deductions.
- Hands-on experience with labour law and statutory compliance for a manufacturing unit (registers, licenses, audits).
- Experience hiring for IT roles (software and hardware) is a plus.
- Good understanding of core HR processes recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management and compliance.
- Willingness to learn new things and adapt quickly to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Good communication skills written and verbal with strong interpersonal and people-management ability.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and other HR/office management tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage HR needs across both the manufacturing unit and corporate office.
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
