Siemens Healthineers is seeking a high-impact, results-driven individual; to drive growth and market leadership for the Point of Care Diagnostics portfolio across South & West India, including Sri Lanka and Maldives.
This role will own end-to-end portfolio strategy and execution—spanning market development, commercial performance, funnel management, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Strategy & Growth Leadership
- Drive portfolio-level strategy to accelerate market share, revenue growth, and profitability
- Identify whitespace opportunities across segments, customer types, and geographies
- Lead initiatives to expand placements, improve utilization, and drive reagent pull-through
- Develop and execute India-specific growth levers aligned to regional dynamics
2. Go-to-Market & Commercial Excellence
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy across segments (government, corporate, channel)
- Optimize pricing, tender positioning, and distribution models to improve competitiveness
- Drive commercial excellence initiatives—funnel sufficiency, win rates, and conversion velocity
- Partner with sales to unlock strategic deals and accelerate closures
3. Funnel Management & Digital Enablement (ShareVille)
- Own end-to-end funnel governance on ShareVille—from lead generation to conversion
- Drive pipeline visibility, quality, and forecasting accuracy
- Analyse funnel leaks and implement interventions to improve conversion rates
- Institutionalize data-driven decision making across the sales lifecycle
4. Demand Generation & Market Activation
- Lead targeted pre-sales activations (demos, workshops, clinical engagements)
- Drive integrated campaigns (digital + on ground) to build awareness and generate demand
- Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to position differentiated value propositions
- Strengthen presence across digital and e-commerce platforms to expand customer reach
5. Customer & Channel Engagement
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, KOLs, and channel partners
- Enable deeper penetration in corporates, private labs, and emerging segments
- Ensure superior customer experience and retention across installed base
6. Planning, Forecasting & Financial Ownership
- Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with sales, finance, and SCM
- Track revenue, margin, and key KPIs; drive corrective actions where required
- Provide actionable insights to leadership based on performance analytics
- Drive pricing and commercial decisions to balance growth and profitability
7. Sales Enablement & Capability Building
- Enable sales teams with tools, training, and frameworks for better portfolio selling
- Improve capabilities in market segmentation, deal structuring, and value selling
- Drive focus on pipeline quality, win rates, and strategic account management
8. Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with marketing, service, regulatory, factory, and global teams
- Ensure alignment of product positioning, service delivery, and customer commitments
- Act as the bridge between global portfolio strategy and local market execution
9. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Define and monitor KPIs across growth, funnel, and market performance
- Lead regular business reviews with clear insights on performance, risks, and opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Business Administration/Life Sciences /related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in Healthcare Diagnostics /POC/Med-Tech, with strong commercial exposure
- Proven track record in portfolio management, sales strategy, or business leadership roles
- Strong understanding of commercial levers—pricing, tenders, channels, and funnel management
- Experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or e-commerce platforms is an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable business decisions
