Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns, statutory returns, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and cash flows.
- Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-control initiatives.
- Identify financial risks and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for better business decisions.
- Handle financial documentation and ensure proper maintenance of records.
- Assist in audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
- Work closely with the management and other departments on finance-related matters.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
- Relevant experience in accounting, taxation, finance, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Prior experience in an e-commerce, D2C, FMCG, or startup environment will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
