The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, distribution, and logistics activities to ensure efficient movement and storage of goods. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space, reducing logistics costs, and ensuring timely delivery to customers while complying with safety and quality standards.
Warehouse Management

Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations.

Ensure efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.

Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.

Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization.
Logistics & Transportation

Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities.

Coordinate with transporters, freight providers, and third-party logistics partners.

Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centres.

Monitor transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Resolve shipment delays, damages, and transportation issues.
Inventory Control

Implement inventory management policies and procedures.

Monitor stock movement and minimize inventory discrepancies.

Analyze inventory reports and forecast replenishment requirements.

Ensure proper handling of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
Team Leadership

Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.

Set performance targets and conduct employee evaluations.

Ensure workforce productivity and adherence to company policies.

Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain warehouse security and loss-prevention measures.

Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.

Conduct safety training and risk assessments.
Reporting & Process Improvement :

Prepare logistics and warehouse performance reports.

Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, delivery performance, and warehouse utilization.

Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.

Support ERP/WMS implementation and optimization initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

5–10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.

Experience managing warehouse teams and transportation activities.

Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
