Lead - Development Advisory ServicesProject and Development Services
What this job involves: Building Consultancy is the primary responsibility of this role. You will provide technical advisory services and comprehensive consultancy reports for investors, lenders, developers and occupiers across various asset classes at both pre-acquisition and portfolio management stages.
Your role will include writing Technical reports and advising clients on the various technical aspects related to a development.
Carrying out comprehensive technical and commercial assessments of real estate assets spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial and mixed-use properties. This includes evaluation of building systems (MEP, structural, envelope), defect analysis, statutory compliance, capital expenditure forecasting, lifecycle costing, and risk assessment.
Drafting Building Consultancy reports covering building conditions, compliance matters, and capital planning requirements. You will ensure reports meet client requirements, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks, adapting reporting style and depth to suit various transaction types and stakeholder needs.
Driving business development by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities within existing and prospective / previous relationships. You will manage client communication throughout engagement cycles, participate in presentations and proposals, and develop relationships that achieve revenue growth targets.
Contributing to the strategic direction of the Advisory vertical by providing market insights, identifying service expansion opportunities, and recommending approaches that strengthen competitive positioning and client value delivery.
Leading innovation in report delivery through introduction of technology solutions, digital tools, automation platforms, and new methodologies that enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and differentiate our service offerings in the market.
End to end ownership of assigned projects from inception through data collection, site inspections, report preparation, stakeholder coordination, quality review, client presentations, submission, invoicing and collections. You will act as the primary program manager coordinating with engineers, surveyors, consultants, and specialists to ensure integrated service delivery.
Resolving project challenges and client issues proactively through effective problem-solving and stakeholder management. You will drive client conversations, manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure seamless delivery that meets quality and timeline commitments.
Maintain records of data and information received from various projects on the shared platform. Update and maintain contract summaries, invoicing records, project pipeline, and performance metrics for all assignments under Building Consultancy services.
You will be required to conduct site visits, review statutory and technical documents, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide strategic inputs that deliver actionable intelligence to support investment and asset management decisions.
Core SkillsetThe position calls for solid project management and program management expertise with excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking capabilities, and ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timelines. A comprehensive understanding of building systems, construction processes, defect analysis, capital planning, and real estate transaction dynamics is required along with strong data analysis and written communication skills. Knowledge of valuation principles, ESG considerations, sustainability certifications, and proptech solutions will be an added advantage.

QualificationsDegree, preferably Bachelor's in Engineering - Civil / Mechanical / Electrical, Architecture, or Building Surveying.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in building consultancy, technical due diligence, construction project management, Program Management, Engineering consultancy, or professional services firms with demonstrated operational and business development capabilities.
Professional qualifications such as MRICS, CEng, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
