Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to support the hotel's sales activities by generating business, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills with prior experience in hotel sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other sales channels.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to maximize repeat business.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and hotel presentations.
- Prepare and negotiate corporate contracts, room bookings, banquet bookings, and event proposals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Banquet, and F&B departments to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
- Identify market trends and competitor activities.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and promotional activities to increase hotel visibility.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Assist the Sales Manager in planning and executing sales strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of the local corporate and travel market will be preferred.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and performance)
