Role Objective
The Operations Head Odisha is the engine room of the state’s skill development initiatives. Your primary focus is the seamless execution of training programs across multiple districts, ensuring centers are fully operational, batches are running on schedule, and every process adheres to the strict SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) of various government schemes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Center Management & Infrastructure
- Ensure all Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKK) or DDU-GKY centers are maintained as per the Branding and Infrastructure Manual.
- Oversee the procurement of lab equipment, raw materials, and consumables required for specific job roles (e.g., Healthcare, Retail, Construction).
- Conduct regular site visits to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and ensure facility hygiene.
2. Mobilization & Batch Management
- Strategy development for candidate mobilization (Ground-level activation, Melas, and Digital outreach).
- Monitor the Target vs. Achievement at the batch level to ensure zero seat leakage.
- Manage the lifecycle of a batch: from registration on the Skill India Digital (SID) or Kaushal Bharat portals to assessment and certification.
3. MIS, Documentation & Quality Control
- Overlook the MIS (Management Information System) team to ensure daily biometric attendance and data entry are error-free.
- Implement a robust internal audit mechanism to prepare centers for surprise inspections by NABET or SSDM officials.
- Ensure all "Evidence Folders" (CCTV footage, candidate dossiers, and training logs) are digitized and audit-ready.
4. Trainer & Staff Supervision
- Coordinate with the HR/Training department to ensure all trainers are TOT (Training of Trainers) certified.
- Manage the performance of Center Managers, providing them with the tools and training needed to meet localized KPIs.

Experience
6–10 years in Skill Development Operations; must have managed at least 5+ centers simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency
High expertise in Government Portals (SID, SDMS, PRN) and MS Excel for data tracking.
SOP Knowledge
Thorough understanding of the DDU-GKY SOP (especially the 30-day mobilization and 75% attendance rules).
Travel
Must be willing to travel extensively (up to 60% of the time) to rural training locations.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
